Course Description: This training satisfies a portion of NAC 284.498 Training of supervisory and managerial employees. (Only supervisors may attend) The Interviewing and Hiring training may be used to satisfy a portion of the initial 40-hour training requirement for new supervisors and managers as noted in NAC 284.498(2). NAC 284.498(3) also requires 40 hours of refresher supervisory/managerial training to be completed every 3 years after the initial 3-year period.This training is limited to employees who are currently supervising classified staff.
