Course Description:

Introduction to WebCampus Learn (8 hrs) – This workshop is for new instructors who wish to learn how to create a course using WebCampus Learn. The focus of this workshop is on course design, developing course content and organizing course materials using the tools available in WebCampus Learn.

The Introduction to WebCampus Learn workshop is for the new instructor who wishes to learn how to use the tools, features and functions of WebCampus Learn to build a course. The workshop introduces you to the WebCampus Learn Portal and the Basic Course Shell used to create all new courses in WebCampus Learn. The workshop participants will create a course beginning with a basic course shell and create a sample course that includes a syllabus, reading material, images, web links, discussion board, assignment and assessment. The participants will also explore WebCampus Learn features for student collaboration and group activities, grade center, course dashboard and early warning system. At the end of the workshop, each participant will have completed the steps necessary to create a course in WebCampus learn and will be ready to request a course shell and begin creating a course.

This workshop is for faculty/staff and graduate students.
